Date Range Selection for Side By Side Calendars

PrimeNG's calendar component can display a series of side by side calendars but each calendar is independent. This means if you want to select a range of dates between two different months, the selection does not work. Is there a workaround to allow date range selection across two calendars. The default functionality allows range selection across months within one calendar.
