Schedule update options property after initialization

Hello,

I have a problem for which I found a couple of threads in this forum aswell as on github, but sadly there are no answers right now.

What I want to do is load resources (that are not part of the schedule component properties, so I have to load them inside the options property) after the calendar has been initialized. I can't access them before that, because I need to get them from the database first. Is there any way to access the fullcalendars functions to set these options dynamically (like it is explained here: https://fullcalendar.io/docs/dynamic-options)

What would be the best solution to get this to work?

I answered my own question right here, if anybody finds this and has the same problem.
