PrimNG p-Datatable support in Angular6

Hello Team,

We are in the process of upgrading from Angular4 to Angular6. In Angular6 we understand that turbotable is preferred, but rather than changing to turbo table right away, we wanted to continue to use data table and then gradually upgrade to turbo table.

Will PrimNG data table work in Angular6? has anybody faced any specific issues after upgrade to Angular6?

As I remember Datatable still works but there's no support/future development

It will work but not maintained anymore in favor of p-table. It is still there to avoid break existing apps during upgrade.

Note that new Nova themes do not style p-dataTable as well.
