replace file upload button with image

I am new to angular and primeng.

I am using <p-fileupload> button to manage the upload of an image related to a profile. What i would like to do is to display the upload button when there is no available image already on the profile, but if there is an image to display that instead of the button. That is easy enough and working. What i would like to happen is for a click on the image to load the pfileupload utility just as if someone clicked on the button.

What is the best way to do this? Is there a way to replace the fileupload button with an image?
