Is any event fired on click on the arrow in p-pickList?

Is any event fired on click on the arrow in p-pickList?

I understand that onSourceSelect is a callback to invoke when items are selected within source list. Is there a call back for arrow. Basically I need to show an error if no item is selected in source and the move arrow is clicked.
