Clear calendar with backspace not working in v7

Hi all!
I've made an upgrade from primeng v5 to v7 and i've noticed that clearing date with backspace is not working anymore.
Is there any way to erase the date without resorting to a button?

I think it's a bug you can create ticket in

We fixed in 8.0.1 you can look
