Autocomplete prevent onunselect

Hi everybody,

i'm using the autocomplete component and i want to to display a confirmation dialog before removing the item (on confirmation of the dialog).

I can readd the removed item to the ngModel property, but it does not update the ui.

Any suggestions on how to solve this.
