Table Loading Icon

I have purchased the Sapphire template. Its table loading icon is a white spinner. This is appearing on top of a white table so it is practically invisible. I found this entry in _data.scss:

     color: #ffffff;
 }

I tried changing it to black and then recompiling. This did not make a difference. I am not sure if I am compiling with sass correctly.

Can someone suggest a way to change the color of the spinner?
