Menubar non responsive & no hamburger

I am new to PrimeNG and am trying to replicate the menubar example from https://primefaces.org/primeng/showcase/#/menubar
In my case when I make the page smaller the menu disappears and there is no hamburger as happens with the example. If I enlarge the screen, the page the menu re-appears
I am using Angular 10 and
