add object to source/target list picklist

1. i have some item in source list array and some item in target list array.
2. And one form, after submit click of form. I am pushing the form details in target-list of picklist.
3. after pushing the details in target-list, picklist doesn't show the newly added data.
4. after clicking on picklist/ doing any operation on picklist it shows up newly added data.
