How to prevent the tab change based on condition in primeng tab view in Angular

Hi Team,

I am using the primeng Tab view compoent where I require some functionality like. Based on some condition on the existing tab. I want to prevent the user from navigating to any other tab and produce a warning message.

Is there any way to do it as of now in the prime ng tab view component.

I have tried using OnTabChange() and onChange() event which currently exists inside which I am tyring to give even.PreventDefault() which seems to be not working.

Please help if there are any other approaches to handle the situation.
