horizontal alignment

i have a panelgrid,i have to align that panelgrid or div to the center of the page.I used "MarTopHalf" class for aligning it vertically but how can align it horizontally?I tried it by using padding-left in css but when i tried it in mobile,the horizontal scrollbar is appeariing.how to resolve it ?
