Does the project comes with a server

I was looking to buy the template and wanted to see if the project already has a scaffolding for some sort of server like express ?

It uses webpack-dev-server for local testing, so you can do npm install first followed by webpack-dev-server to run the template in your local environment. Afaik webpack-dev-server is based on express. However the sample project is not a full blown starter, it is just to run the demo, documentation is included for CLI integration or to your custom environment as in the end, you just need to copy some js, css and html.

I'm also struggling to start the demo after having paid for it.
Where are the instructions?
I've tried to install like this:
npm install webpack-dev-server
And for starting:
npm start

I only get errors:

Have you tried steps at;

Make sure, your webpack and cli versions are up to date.
