Porting Ultima Layout to Ionic 2

I am currently working on a company project in which we have to develop a Web application in Angular 2 using the Ultima Layout. Part of the project involves developing said application's mobile counterpart (which must not run in a Browser, ergo - it must be a mobile app). We were considering using Ionic 2 since it'd be easier to set up a development enviroment given the machines are already set up to build Angular applications.

What I want to know is if it's possible to make use of the Ultima Layout in Ionic 2, and if so, what are the steps necessary to do so.
