p-tree with a lot of nodes - performance problem

I use primeng version 8.1.1
In my project I display p-tree with a lot of nodes - x tree and a tree with few nodes - y tree.
x tree both t tree selectionMode = "multiple"
I try to select nodes in y tree - only after some seconds I see the result - the node selected.
If I not display x-tree I see the result immediately.
