Is it possible to add a static menu (like in Ultima Layout). I think the user experience with the current menu is bad as you always need at least two mouse clicks for navigating between pages.

Or I think as another user suggested earlier a way to "pin" the menu open or have the user close it if they want to close it. Which would accomplish the great look of the current menu while giving you the flexibility to leave it open if you wanted to.
