with the old template "spark" I found useful to display some elements in a format for mobile and in another format for desktop.
From spark documentation:
Visibilities According To The Platform
ShowOnMobile Only visible on screen widths smaller than 960px.
ShowOnDesktop Only visible on screen widths bigger than 960px.
