I apologise if this is a stupid question, but when I change the font size in the to make it bigger, nothing seems to happen to my input controls, like text boxes.

Could someone please explain to me why this is?

After change, you have to run the sass files again with sass commands(for example: sass --watch _path_).
Please try this and write us again if the problem persists
