Virtual scrolling in DataTable

I am working on the datatable, there is a description which says the virtual scrolling is enabled for loading data on scroll, but unfortunately i do not see any way to activate an event on scroll for it, i need to call an api end point on scroll to bottom, which is an event. I tried using onscroll and also javascript to check if the virtual scrolling reached bottom but nothing working so far, need some suggestion here.

Seems there is an issue with the DataTable documentation because Virtual Scrolling is planned within september after releasing 1.0-Final this week.
