PrimeReact 2.0.0 is under heavy development and we're getting close to the final release due November. 2.0.0-beta.9 is an important milestone that introduces the new DeferredContent component and the reimplement Slider. In addition, Apollo which is one of the most popular templates of PrimeFaces/PrimeNG is now available for PrimeReact as well in the form of a create-react-app.
