DataTable programmatically unset edit mode

I feel like I'm missing something simple, but when the user hits a Save button, I want to be able to take the DataTable out of edit mode. I can't seem to find how to do this. Possible?

Not now but we added a feature similar to your request to PrimeNG and we will plan to add to PrimeReact for next releases. Also, you can follow this github issue; https://github.com/primefaces/primereact/issues/809
