Reset Datatable

Hello

I am using PrimeReact Datatable and wondering how do I reset datatable? I have used it in Angular (PrimeNg) and it has reset method, which reset all the filters. Im not sure how to do the same in React. I tried setting the state that holds the filters to emtpy object but the value on the UI remains there in the text box.
