PrimeReact 6.5 and React 16.12

Hi!

We are using PrimeReact version 5, but we want to update it to 6.5 to get the advantage of new functionalities. We have tested it and everything seems ok, but the minimum requirement is react 17. Our version is 16.12, but since the API is the same in version 17, I think it must be compatible. Is that correct?

Yes, you can update your project to PrimeReact 6.5.0. We're using createRef on PrimeReact. So you can use it with React 16.3+ .
