Avalon 5.x compatibility with PrimeNG 6 RC1

I need to start a new project with Angular 6 and PrimeNG 6 right away, and I would like to use Avalon theme in it. I cannot wait till the 6.0 Avalon theme is released in a couple of weeks. What are my options now?

• Can I start a new project with Avalon 5.x now and update the PrimeNG and angular dependency to 6.0?
  Is there a pre-alpha version of Avalon 6.x available for me to try? I don't need everything to work perfectly at this point, I need to start building some of the components right away with Angular 6. I can upgrade to the official release of the Avalon 6 when it comes out later.

Avalon 6 will be released later this week with PrimeNG 6.0 and Angular 6.
