AvalonNG 6.0.0 w/ primeng 6.0.1 or 6.0.2 menu pulldown broken

Working with an AvalonNG 6.0.0 project, decided to upgrade to the new primeng 6.0.2 this morning and immediately noticed that on the left-hand side of the page where my menu is, that the sub-menu expansion caret does not open the sub-menu. I tried primeng 6.0.1 and it doesn't work with that version either. The sub-menu caret and displaying of the sub-menu options only works with primeng 6.0.0.

I'm using Avalon 6.0.0 and primeng 6.0.2 and the menu icons display fine but I'm using Font-Awesome 4. Unfortunately I haven't been able to remove font-awesome 4 and use the new primeicons.css with FA 5 because the Accordion control still required FA 4 for some reason. I've posted a bug about that but have not heard back.
