Content of Layout

I'm thinking to buy template California but I would like to know what there is.
I try to explain:
1. Can I access to .xhtml pages or managedBeans if I want to modify or add new pages?
2. I read the class file are content in a jar. Does this jar contain java files?
3. Could I see in any place the structure files I would buy?
