Hello,

Since we love our Primefaces application (thanks PF guys for the great work!) we are evaluating Primefaces mobile to port our Sencha Touch application which runs on Ipad to a JSF application.

Is there something like splitscreen http://asyraf9.github.com/jquery-mobile/ which exists for JQuery mobile also available if Primefaces Mobile?

Thanks!

Hi,

Sencha Touch is a good product but we are with a team of Java developers which strongly believe in the Java/JSF technology and don't like coding in javascript. Since we already have a PF application and are very impressed by the possibilities of PF we also want to change our javascript appplication to the PF mobile technology.

So the reason is simple: we like JSF better than Javascript.

Regards,

Tim

Since our application works on IPad we have a much bigger screen than the IPhone and hence we would like to 'split' the screen.

I tried to experiment with facelets to split the screen but this is, as expected, without results.

Ditto, tdevos, ditto! I love Javascript, but I love PrimeFaces more than Javascript!!! I just began Java/J2EE/JSF/PrimeFaces development summer 2011 after reading J2EE 6 tutorial (especially, the web application development chapters), and I'm loving the experience!
