Are new themes designer based?

Hi,

I do not know why I think so, so I'd like to make it clear.
Are new themes (I'm interested in free ones Nova-*, Luna-*) created using designer?
Are variable files for those available?

Thanks!

PS: Is Omega free or premium (as it is in both categories...)

- Yes, Nova and Luna are created by the PrimeFaces Theme Designer API. You can access their codes in Designer API and change it.
Are variable files for those available?
- Yes, you can access the variables in Designer.
Is Omega free or premium (as it is in both categories...)
- Omega Theme is free, Omega Layout is the premium layout. Please see https://primefaces.org/omega/docs.xhtml

Thanks for a reply, I'm just not sure if we are talking about the same thing, so I'd like to ask additional question.

I understood, that designed contains somehow prepared variables... My question was, whether such variable files, that were used for Nova-*/Luna-* are available. I'm asking because I didn't find it in Designer Trial, was your answer "you can access the variables in Designer" meant, that when I'll have a license it will be there?

Trailer version doesn't have Nova and Luna themes. You need to have Premium Designer API to access the variables and SASS files of them or to do customize of their styles. https://www.primefaces.org/designer/primefaces

As far as I can tell after a first glance, the basic subscription of Designer API does not include variable files (i.e. _variables.scss) for each of the Nova and Luna variants, only the default Nova one. Those would be nice to have. I'd like to offer the users some choice, but have to make minor adjustments like font size and margins.

We'll update the *.scss files (with _variable.scss) of Nova and Luna and release Premium Designer API asap.

Best Regards,

Even I checked it last time the basic subscription of Designer API does not include variable files. If it is modified it will be great.
