Problems with font item color in panelMenu

Hello everyone.

It is the first time I use Primefaces and I am having a series of difficulties difficult to overcome.

I'm trying to use a panelMenu and it does not behave the same way it behaves on the example page:

More specifically, once I have incorporated the panelMenu on my page the font color of the menu items are painted white, when in the example are black. In fact, this causes the texts of the menu items not to be displayed for those subjects (for example, bluesky) in which the background color of the Menu panel is white. So, how can you make the menu item text color black?

On the other hand, how can I change the font size of menu items?
