Column Width in Ultima theme

I would like to know how to set the column width in a datatable so that it comes up with different dimensions depending on the size of the screen. For example, in p: panelGrid there is the columnClasses = "ui-grid-col-2, ui-grid-col-8" property that does this. Is there something similar to this in the column of a datatable?
