Problem with layoutmenubutton

Good afternoon, I have bought the olympia but I had problems installing it in a jakarta project with netbeas so i did the following:
copy the resources folder and the corresponding xhtml files from the template and the dashboard page, when running the project it works but the button layoutmenubutton does not work I mean that it does not hide or show the menu
