Hi,
I need to change the default <p:inputTextarea> appearance. According to google material design guidelines:
"Text areas should have a visible border, using the same color and thickness as the input line."
Link: https://material.io/guidelines/componen ... ield-types
What is the best way to change <p: inputTextarea> so that it has visible borders? This change should affect all <p: inputTextarea> of the system.
<p:inputTextarea> borders

Hello,
While we designing Ultima theme, there were no borders on text area on Google's guideline. It makes more sense actually with borders so we'll add border on the next release. Also we're working on a new and better visual option for all inputs now.

Hello joerg,
Yes, it will be much more better for user experience imho too. The changes are delayed but not forgotten.

Ultima NG has received the textbox option, we'll do it for material themes of PrimeFaces as well very soon.
