Hi,
I'm very excited about ExtJS. It's a very good UI library. As a java developer I am very interested in combining ExtJS with Java server technologies. Since JSF is the standardized framework for java web applications a integration of ExtJS in JSF would be really amazing.
I've already found Lilya, but I don't know if this project is still developed. Do you have any information about this?
I think an open source and maintained (JSF + ExtJS) would give both technologies wide distribution. For JSF a really good UI framework with good looking widgets and a fast responding user interface is needed. ExtJS is a nice solution for this. JSF brings a very nice backend, consisting of good binding, converting and event mechanisms.
If Lilya is not in development any longer, do you know any alternative? Or is there any other framework planned?
Greetings

How is this PrimeFaces related? And honestly, THE solution is to use PrimeFaces. Better than trying in a nice to combine ExtJS and JSF.

To use ExtJS in a nice way, something like "ExtJS-Faces" library would be required probably.
This would be a competitor to PrimeFaces. Most of our JS component parts are written by ourself.
