Issue: cannot delete date from calendar once it's selected

If a valid date is selected, and you delete it, after leaving the input it puts the previous date back, so it cannot be deleted.

And in my previous topic I wrote: if date format is yymmdd, when typing date it adds a leading zero to the day section, so typing 2018-08-12 will be 2018-08-01 after leaving the field.
