p-autocomplete components attribute autoHighlight="true" is selecting first dropdown only on tab click instead of mouse click how to achieve same functionality on mouse click event

I can able to see auto highlight for mouseclick as well. Can you describe with the steps

Hi,

I am facing similar problem.

I have autocomplete with auto highlight option set to true. Once i enter value in my auto complete and tab out, the first option is selected.
But if i start entering values in and instead of tab out, I click somewhere outside the control, it does not automatically select the first option. Expectation would be it behaves similar to tab out.

Do you have a workaround for this?
