Double click event in table row is calling single click event handler twice and then calling double click event

I want to use both the single & double click functionalities in a row. On single click it should display the details of that row and on double clicking it should add that to the list without opening the detailed view of the selected row. When i tries to use the click event in primereact table. Double clicking a row calls the single click handler twice and then executing the double click handler. Is there a way to restrict single click handler during double click event?
