What about integrating HighCharts in PrimeFaces?

Just looked at the example charts of the HighStock-Chart-Tool which look quite powerful for visualizing timeline data.

What about d3?

The examples at https://github.com/mbostock/d3/wiki/Gallery look great.

As I didn't find a pricing it looks like it's free.

Why don't you wrap the chart library you want yourself.

I'm happy with PrimeFaces Charts, spent a lot of time to make them work. No plans to change.

Currently we are trying to develop our own JQuery plugin for timeline.

If everything goes well you will see our new timeline in 0.6 release.
