Hi,

First of all thanks for the 0.6.0 update. The feature to set a id really helped me a lot however having to set everything in the LayoutOptions also causes some confusing on my end. I am missing some documentation on what options can be set with LayoutOptions.
For example, i would have thought that adding a option as style would be supported but adding this options doesn't seem to be included in the rendered output. Neither does styleClass.

A other thing that i have noticed is that if you set the margin for a layoutPane (css wise) that the Layout doesnt take the margin into account and results that panels are ovelapping eachother. Maybe there is a better way to set the margin for a specific layoutPane. In my instance i have a margin-left of 4% for the west panel and a margin-right of 4% for the center panel.

From my part 2 questions then: A) how can I (we) find out what options are supported and B) how can you set margins for layoutPane that are taken account by the rendered?

Thanks a lot for your answer on forehand.

A) I mentioned here exactly all links where you can find all available options http://fractalsoft.net/primeext-showcas ... layout.jsf
B) Margin is one of the options too. It is called "spacing". I normally use in my code panes.addOption("spacing", 6). See e.g. here in "Managed Bean" tab http://fractalsoft.net/primeext-showcas ... Layout.jsf You can set another spacing too, but be aware that you should overwrite default CSS settings then! Resizer icons can be strange if the spacing is not 6px. In short words: Spacing 6 is recommended. Otherwise, think to explore CSS classes for resizer and adjust them if necessary.

This forum topic and what's mentioned in this topic helped me as I migrated from p:layout to pe:layout. And wow (shaking my head), it was an interesting experience, spent the last 12 to 24 hours on it. Will have to share my lessons learned, ASAP. :)
